Northern Arizona Council of Governments – NACOG

About Us

NACOG's Head Start provides comprehensive child development and family support services for children and their families who economically qualify. Head Start operates preschool programs for children three to five years of age, and Early Head Start programming for pregnant mothers and children birth to three years of age in select communities throughout the non-reservation portions of northern Arizona. Head Start services prepare children for future success. Preschool skills are taught that promote school readiness. Early Head Start services promote child/adult bonding and instruction to enhance brain development in infants, toddlers and Pre-K school readiness.
