About Us

At the Northern Ponca Housing Authority, we envision a community where members of the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska are empowered through education, culture, economic prosperity, and a range of affordable housing and home ownership opportunities.

The Northern Ponca Housing Authority was created under Ordinance of the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska in 1993. Our mission is to provide sustainable housing, homeownership and community development services to members of the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska and other eligible Native Americans.

The Northern Ponca Housing Authority offers low-income rental housing, down payment assistance, a tenant home ownership program, home ownership home improvement assistance and a residential opportunity for self-sufficiency program. We operate housing units, in Omaha, Bellevue, Lincoln, Norfolk, Battle Creek, Columbus and Niobrara, NE, as well as Wagner, SD, and Sioux City and Council Bluffs, IA.
